Position Highlights:
- Dedicated psycho-oncology suite within Supportive Oncology floor of flagship cancer institute
- Outpatient clinic within premier cancer research and treatment institute
- Provide psychiatric consultation and treatment of oncology patients

- Established integrated services with oncologic teams and steady referral streams
- Joining thriving Psycho-Oncology section of 20+ LCSWs, 2 Psychologists, 5 Psychotherapists, and RN/CMA support along with substantial support programs
- Psycho-Oncology administratively structured within Department of Supportive Oncology that promotes interdisciplinary collaboration with Cancer Nutrition, Cancer Rehabilitation (Neuropsychology), Integrative Oncology, Palliative Medicine, Patient Navigation, Senior Oncology, and Survivorship.
- Academic appointment opportunity with Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine
- Academic (Heme Onc/Palliative Medicine Fellows, Psychiatry residents, and medical student rotations) and research time could be allocated. Weekly education and research meetings.
- Full-time weekday work schedule, 1 in 8 weekends – Virtual CL call coverage
Ideal Candidate:
- CL Fellowship training or Internal Medicine/Psychiatry background preferred
- Psycho-oncology or related experience preferred
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a collegial care team
- Comfortable with onsite and virtual environments
