2024 Annual Meeting Highlights

June 27-29 • Lille, France • #MASCC24

We were delighted to welcome over 1400 delegates from 56 countries to this year’s MASCC/AFSOS/ISOO Annual Meeting in Lille, France. Those attending included doctors, nurses, researchers, allied health professionals, industry representatives, patient partners, students, and trainees. This year also marked the 40th anniversary of ISOO, which was celebrated with a formal reception for ISOO members by ticket or invitation. 

This year’s meeting themes were:

• Overall Theme: Empower People Impacted by Cancer and Living with Toxicities
• Home Care and Extending Supportive Care at Home or Closer to Home
• Management of Emerging Toxicities
• Innovative Implementation of Supportive Care in Cancer
• Quality Improvement in Supportive Care
• Sessions on the Various MASCC/ISOO Study Group Topics

Beyond our scientific content, we were pleased to host our second Annual Meeting Mentorship Event, pairing early-career attendees with experienced mentors for 30 minute mentoring sessions. New members were also invited to our New Member Breakfast Reception, and all attendees were given the opportunity to purchase a ticket for our Presidential Reception.

Thanks to everybody who joined us for this year’s meeting, and special thank you to Prof Alexandre Chan, our 2024 Annual Meeting Chair; Jocelyn White, Events and Marketing Manager; and the entire organizing committee for their hard work and leadership.
