2024 • Lille, France | June 27-29
We were delighted to welcome over 1400 delegates from 56 countries to the 2024 MASCC/AFSOS/ISOO Annual Meeting in Lille, France. Those attending included doctors, nurses, researchers, allied health professionals, industry representatives, patient partners, students, and trainees. This year also marked the 40th anniversary of ISOO, which was celebrated with a formal reception for ISOO members by ticket or invitation.
This year’s meeting themes were:

- Home Care and Extending Supportive Care at Home or Closer to Home
- Management of Emerging Toxicities
- Innovative Implementation of Supportive Care in Cancer
- Quality Improvement in Supportive Care
- Sessions on the Various MASCC/ISOO Study Group Topics
2023 • Nara, Japan | June 22-24
The MASCC/JASCC/ISOO 2023 Annual Meeting in Nara, Japan broke new ground as our first joint meeting with one of our MASCC affiliates: the Japanese Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (JASCC). This meeting also marked our first Annual Meeting in Asia, and we were delighted to welcome over 1300 delegates representing nearly 50 countries around the world.
Our meeting this year featured plenary sessions on Robotics & Artificial Intelligence, Traditional Medicine, and Disparities in Supportive Care, all held within the ancient and beautiful city of Nara. The overall theme of the meeting was “Interdisciplinary Nature of Supportive Cancer Care”, and we were pleased to welcome colleagues from many disciplines and specialities to discuss the latest research and innovations in supportive care.
2022 • Toronto, Canada | June 23-25
In 2022, MASCC/ISOO hosted our first ever hybrid Annual Meeting, with delegates able to join either in-person in Toronto, Canada, or virtually.
In-person delegates had the chance to explore the vibrant and diverse city of Toronto, with its foodie delights, arts & culture, and abundant summer festivals. Known for its diversity and multiculturalism, Toronto’s innovative and collaborative spirit made it the perfect host for the 2022 meeting.
This year’s meeting themes were: Supportive Care Post-COVID-19: Best Practices, Disparities in Supportive Care: Solutions Needed, Big Data and Predictive Analytics in Supportive Care, Patient Empowerment and Self-Management Enhancement, and Burnout in Oncology (both healthcare professionals and caregivers).
