Supportive Oncology Fellowship (1 Year)

Atrium Health Levine Cancer

Atrium Health Levine Cancer | Charlotte, NC

The Supportive Oncology Fellowship at Atrium Health Levine Cancer offers advanced training for hospice and palliative medicine physicians seeking to expand their expertise into the broader, emerging field of supportive oncology. This one-year fellowship is housed within a nationally and internationally recognized Division of Supportive Oncology and is widely regarded as a model for integrated supportive cancer care.

Fellows function as attending physicians in outpatient oncology palliative medicine while gaining longitudinal, multidisciplinary experience in cancer rehabilitation, oncology nutrition, psycho-oncology, integrative oncology, survivorship, patient navigation, and senior oncology. The program emphasizes oncology-specific symptom management, functional preservation and rehabilitation, survivorship care, integrative oncology, psychosocial support, business planning, and sustainability.

This fellowship is intentionally designed for HPM-trained physicians who seek to deepen their oncology-focused clinical skills, develop academic and leadership expertise, and prepare for careers in supportive oncology, oncology-embedded palliative care, survivorship, or program leadership within cancer centers.
